Happy Friday!
I am certain that I am on my way right now to the Rio Grande Valley, driving with my dog ginger and my husband. We haven't seen my family since we got married almost 3 months ago, so this is something we are looking forward to!
I am packing a lot of light and fresh clothes, with a pair of "dancing shoes" should we decide to go out! I am also packing this plaid top that I found at Banana Republic a few weeks back. I know this is not the first time I have spoken to you all about plaid, however I have never told you all why it's approved by many! Here are my reasons.
Mix and Match
Mix and matching with plaid is very easy! You can wear it over casual jeans, with shorts for the Summer heat, or dress it up with a skirt and heels. Going to a country themed event? Wear plaid. Need a casual outfit out? Wear Plaid (over jeans). Birthday party or family gathering? Yea.. you get the idea :) It goes with everything!
Always in Style
Plaid is a print or pattern that you can seriously wear over and over. It never goes out of style and it can be worn in every season. It's certainly a great fashion investment!
Variety of Colors
What is super cool about plaid, is that this print comes in a variety of colors. The most common are black and red plaid, or white and black. There are also hot pink with black, lime green, or these blues mixed with small stripes of yellow. You can always find plaid in a different color!
Age doesn't Matter
Woman of all ages can pull of plaid! From little toddlers, to woman in their early 30s (ME!) to late 30s, 40s, or even 50s! It just works on every kind of woman!
